TEN Books I Wish I Owned (for Top Ten Tuesday)

Welcome to another week of Top Ten Tuesay - Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl is hosting again, and I'm joining again. I enjoy participating each week for a couple reasons. I'm a compulsive list maker and love a good list. And, I love a connection with other readers as I wander their book blogs.

This week's prompt is to share 10 books I wish I owned. My personal library is constantly revolving/evolving because I don't keep books after I've read them, so my shelves are full only of books I haven't read yet. But, in a perfect world I'd have room for the stacks of books I've read - and these are ones I'd add.....mostly by series, since what good does it do to have just a single book in a series??? Here goes.

I want to finish this series and this is the next book for me. There's a total of 17, so in my dream world I'd own all of them!

This fantasy series by Holly Black has been on my wish list for a while!

I've read the first and fourth of this series so I clearly need to have the rest so I can follow this conman turned lawyer!

This is another series that's been on my wish list for a while - I mean, just look at those covers!

More graphic design covers in this assassin fantasy series.

The Last Policeman series is about a policeman still upholding the law as a meteor rushes toward earth and the apocalypse approaches.

Less exciting covers, but this historical fiction series features a husband & wife PI team helping find missing persons, which sounds amazing.

So, way more than 10 books here, but fewer than 10 series! I'm eager to see what other readers have on their wish lists. I wonder if it'll be mostly new titles or older, backlist titles to fill in with other books they own?

Welcome to Bookshelf Journeys.

It's my goal to provide real reviews of the books I read without totally rehashing every plot. I'll never spoil a story by giving away a plot twist! Hopefully you'll find one or two of interest and will discover a new book or author to add to YOUR TBR list.  Take a moment to explore, read a couple reviews, and let me know what you think.

                            TIPS

For your convenience, I use #hashtags in the reviews and when you click on one, you'll find more books with that theme. Hopefully you'll find it a helpful way to navigate the site and find books you'll enjoy. I've also recently added tags that will show up at the end of each review that serve the same purpose.

The review ratings are based on a 5 star  (1/2 stars sometimes) system with a 3 being an average read for me. I hope you find that helpful. Knowing, of course, that all opinions are just that - my opinion!  Let me know if you agree or disagree - I'd love to hear from you.
