PERSONAL UPDATE
The biggest news in my corner of the country (Seattle) is that we had a streak of mid-90d weather. I know from reading posts from many of you that you've already been experiencing summer heat waves. 90d in Seattle and everyone melts. Air conditioning is a rarity because it never used to get this hot - maybe a couple days reached 80d. The last 5-7 years though, we've hit 90-100 for a week or two every summer and ...... sheesh, for all the complaining! But, without a/c, it feels pretty darn hot.
