From the library:
I'm an urban sketcher and when I walked into the library, here were these two books sitting on its main display. I had to get them and see if there was anything new. In the Illustrated Journey, I found several sketchers I'm familiar with and lots of inspirational ideas.

PERSONAL UPDATE
Happy news! My husband and I celebrated our 43rd wedding anniversary this week. It's been a wonderful ride and I wouldn't change a day of it - he's a fabulous guy.
Unfortunately it looks like our family has not escaped covid unscathed. My oldest son had it right before his wedding celebration and now my youngest has it. Luckily hubby and I have avoided it so far! Knock on wood. Other than that, life goes on.....going to work, reading, adding content to the blog, sitting on the deck enjoying our minute of summer. Hope you're all doing well!
