Weekend Book Sharing and Blog Visits #42

It's the weekend, so it must be time to enjoy a few of my favorite book memes. This is a great opportunity for readers and bloggers to share what they've been up to - both newly received books, what you've read or want to read and any bookish or personal news/updates.

I'll be linking to: Stacking the Shelves is hosted every Saturday by Marlene @ Reading Reality The Sunday Post is hosted by Kimberly at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. The Sunday Salon hosted by Deb @ ReaderBuzz, Mailbox Monday hosted by Words and Peace is also a weekly gathering place to share new books received. PHOTOS BY TERRIE PURKEY - CELEBRATING SYDNEY, AUS (2nd installment)

This is from a trip before covid!
Last week someone asked for a sketch made in Sydney - here's the view out our apartment window.

Bondi Beach is a famous place so of course we had to visit and we took the 5 mile beach walk. It was rugged, lots of coves with beaches, and HOT.

After that long, hot walk, it was time to sit in the shade and have a drink!

Another day we visited the Blue Mountains outside Sydney - this rock formation is the Three Sisters.
Hope you have a most excellent upcoming week and hopefully find time to enjoy a good book. Looking forward to visiting as many as I can again this week!
