September TBR additions - which are on YOUR list?

Once again I'm sharing books that caught my eye and made it to my TBR list. I keep an extensive list, because I never know what mood I'm going to be in or what the library will have, so I want to keep my options open. I track them here on the blog, as much for my own interest as for yours. Scan through the covers and titles and see if there's something that appeals to you - you may find your next read right here!

I used to give page count and synopsis for each, but this became quite labor intensive as my participation in Top 10 Tuesday, Stacking the Shelves, etc. has raised my awareness on SO many books. I went from adding 6-10 books a month to adding 25+ per month! So I think I'll streamline the display but link each cover to Goodreads for more details if the cover looks interesting to you. I'll group the books by how they came to my attention:

ARCs, NetGalley, Book Sirens, Edelweiss, etc.

NetGalley Read Now Book Sirens

FREEBIES (on my TBR since I own it now)

Ebook Daily, EReader News, Book Sents, Etc. (Click cover to go to Goodreads)

You G-U-U-Y-S-S-S....... This is just TOO many additions in just two weeks! And yet I love that there's so many cool, interesting sounding books out there yet to read. And thanks to all the book bloggers above for the great ideas!

Check back in a couple weeks and see how many I add for the second half of September. I know Top 10 Tuesday has a What's on Your Fall TBR post coming up and I KNOW I will find a lot there. Again.

Welcome to Bookshelf Journeys.

It's my goal to provide real reviews of the books I read without totally rehashing every plot. I'll never spoil a story by giving away a plot twist! Hopefully you'll find one or two of interest and will discover a new book or author to add to YOUR TBR list.  Take a moment to explore, read a couple reviews, and let me know what you think.

                            TIPS

For your convenience, I use #hashtags in the reviews and when you click on one, you'll find more books with that theme. Hopefully you'll find it a helpful way to navigate the site and find books you'll enjoy. I've also recently added tags that will show up at the end of each review that serve the same purpose.

The review ratings are based on a 5 star  (1/2 stars sometimes) system with a 3 being an average read for me. I hope you find that helpful. Knowing, of course, that all opinions are just that - my opinion!  Let me know if you agree or disagree - I'd love to hear from you.
