NEW Celebrity Book Club Selections : October 2022

I have the complete list of book club selections for some of the more popular celebrity reading groups located at the Reading List tab at the top of the page. Each of them usually add a new book monthly, so I'm checking in and updating the lists with these newest additions for this month.
Reese Witherspoon Hello Sunshine Book Club

Our Missing Hearts by Celeste Ng
352 pages
This sounds fascinating and I love Ng's writing so this is a must read for me and has already been on my TBR
. From Goodreads: a story of the ways supposedly civilized communities can ignore the most searing injustice. It’s a story about the power—and limitations—of art to create change, the lessons and legacies we pass on to our children, and how any of us can survive a broken world with our hearts intact.
Oprah Book Club - No new selection this month
Good Morning America Book Club

Mad Honey by Jodi Picoult and Jennifer Finney Boylan
464 pages
A woman and her teenage son move to a small town to start over. He falls for the new girl in town - then she's discovered dead and he's being questioned by the police. His mom swears he'd never kill anyone, but remembers his flashes of temper. A story of suspense, romance, and the power of secrets.
Read With Jenna Book Club

The Whalebone Theatre by Joanna Quinn
576 pages
Jenna says she "couldn't believe this is a debut novel. It's epic in scope and I couldn't believe how beautiful the writing was. It says so much about where we find hope and love amid our darkest times."
This is historical fiction about the life of a young girl who becomes a headstrong young woman and eventually becomes a secret agent during WWII.
This is already on my TBR list.
Emma Roberts Book Club (Belletrist)

Motherthing by Ainslie Hogarth
288 pages
from Goodreads: A darkly funny domestic horror novel about a woman who must take drastic measures to save her husband and herself from the vengeful ghost of her mother-in-law.
I couldn't find a new selection for Sarah Jessica Parker or Steph Curry. Some celebrities don't choose something every month and some have their selections on join-and-pay sites like Literati. So until they show up somewhere on the internet for free, I won't be able to share them.
Two of these four picks were already on my radar thanks to my blogger buddies who share upcoming new releases. Now I just have to get on the library wait list.
Happy Reading.
